We have been monitoring Jason's urine results because his protein creatinine ratio is always high. Two weeks ago when in for polygam the result was 181 (normal is less than 20). So anyway the nephrologist keeps scratching his head with Jason and these high results because nothing is pointing to kidney damage on other results. He asked us to repeat the test in 2 weeks which we did yesterday and the result was 42.
One big thing we know with Jason is he dehydrates very fast through diarrhea and urinating so we have been pushing his water with him the past two weeks. He will not drink anything on his own and the only thing he will drink is water if told to do so. He can only drink out of a sippy cup with a straw on the side and in order to do so we have to keep saying "take a sip", "take a sip". The only way to get fluid volumes in is to syringe water into his mouth and then he can take a whole glass full (and no it's not stubbornness). This is Jason for you. Anyway we have been syringing his water for the past two weeks and pushing volumes and it seems this is helping.
The granuloma, Palm Beach granny has a cream for us that was suggested that will help so hopefully this will help with the nasty granuloma as well.
AND we are going to the sea and to see Palm Beach granny this weekend. One more sleep Jason - yay!!!
