My day and my nerves did improve. I guess it didn't help that this morning while giving Jason his paediasure he choked and vomited and last night's stew was basically whole - perfect beans and carrots like they hadn't even entered the stomach. This worried me a bit - wondering if it was stuck in his oesophagus or if it just didn't digest at all. Man this child and his stomach. Gives me grey hairs.
So today we did some lego to pass the time. Jason's granny brought him a 3 in 1 Lego set. Well we built the airplane which took us two hours and we no sooner finished and he wanted to build the next one. So we broke that up and built the ship which took us an hour and 45 minutes. Great for Jason's concentration and fine motor skills!
Thank you to everyone that supported us with this raffle. To Fiona who kindly donated the prize and got the raffle started, a huge thank you. It was the push I needed. To everyone that assisted with selling raffle tickets thank you and to everyone that supported us and brought a ticket or tickets, thank you so much!!
The raffle draw I decided to video Jason doing the draw for the lucky winner. The winner was Sally Martens who was Jason's occupational therapist a few years back. Sally knows Jason pretty well from all of their therapy they did together. Well done Sally!! To look at the video, click on the link below.

Otherwise all Jason's blood work seemed fine. The usual highs and lows and nothing to be concerned about. His protein creatinine ration is 0.58. It has come down from the 4.57 when he had swine flu but it is still high. We will see what Jason's nephrologist says.
A little humour for the evening. I phoned Nandos to order some dinner. The conversation with the person answering phone :- Nandos : "cell number please" (give her my number) "Oh Jill Long from Alberlito Hospital Pediatric Ward"
Me : "Yip that's right, that's me"
Quite the hospital regular that even Nandos have the hospital as my address. I enjoyed that!!
So the day went very well after the rockey falling apart start. Jason has done very well with no fevers - hoorah touch wood. We will be finishing shortly. It is almost 8pm so a pretty early finish today. Blessed that we have polygam that boosts Jason's immune system and helps him fight bugs and infections.
