This morning Jason did have temperatures but for the rest of the day he was
absolutely fine. His stomach is still making loads of griping noises. I have discussed the change with Jason’s paed and the dietician and come tomorrow we will see how he goes tonight and discuss what to do from here. Whether we progress with the Nutrini Peptisorb or whether we try a new feed completely. It’s hard to say what the problem is but his stomach is definitely reacting negatively. The only way to know is to push forward and see how he reacts and make changes that need to be changed when necessary. It’s a process of elimination and a waiting game. His chest is getting better; he is learning to cough more to avoid the suctioning, so our days have been less traumatic for him and for me.
Entertainment at the moment is educational dvd’s. Jason loves gadgets and technology and we are finding that he is learning a lot through these dvd’s while he is confined to his bed. It’s comforting to know that he is at least learning while he is here which is great. Granny and grandpa brought him two new educational dvd’s today so he is keeping really busy learning here.
About a week and a half ago a minister who had heard about Jason kindly took it upon himself and came to visit us to pray for Jason and to pray with me. On Friday he returned with some members of his church and again tonight he returned with two members of his church. This has been really comforting and supportive for me knowing that these strangers are taking the time out to come and see us and pray for healing for our little boy. I am finding a lot of comfort in it myself receiving prayer and support. Prayer is powerful and I know a lot of you reading this are praying for Jason and continue to pray and we believe that Jason’s health will turn around and he will be healed. Keep the prayers up, the power of prayer is amazing!
