I think I am going to go ahead with the fundraiser. We have to really try and raise funds and this is the only way that I know. We have to sell a minimum of 50 tickets because if we don't we will have to pay for those tickets. I am confident that we can do that with the help of all my friends and family. If everyone just spreads the word and invites their friends I am sure we can manage a fundraiser. I am one determined mother, determined to help my little boy and I can do this. The only way we can pay for Jason's special needs is through the support of the Trust and unfortunetely the trust doesn't have much money.
So for all of you in South Africa, watch this space, we need your support!!!! If anyone has any other ideas on ticket sales or can help with any OTHER fundraisers for us, PLEASE let me know. I know the Barnyard has theatres in Pretoria, Joburg, Durban and Cape Town. SO if anyone would be willing to do this for us in the other provinces, that would be great. An old school friend of mine arranged a golf day on Saturday here in Ballito and apparently it was great fun. I am not sure how many people went or how much funds were raised but I would like to thank you Tarryn and those people that supported us by going to the golf day. I wanted to pop in but unfortunately Jason woke up at 5am gagging and sick and we couldn't make it :-(.
Once I have the date for the Barnyard Fundraiser I will let everyone know. The next show sounds really great and it will more than likely be end March, beginning April. If we do have the fundraiser I will need all the support we can get. Basically you will get to watch a really good live show, you buy your eats and drinks and you will be supporting Jason by a portion of the price of the tickets sold.
