Hi Jason, I wish you everything of the best for your trip! I know you going to raise the money for you and your parents to go and I know its going to be a huge success! Lots of Love your buddy Jaime!
Well done, the website is really great. Now sit back and watch how your dreams come true. It's not going to be easy but it's worth everything you will be going through once you see Jason nibbling away. It's been a month and I still can't get over Andrea's food combinations. Today I fed Andi yogurt while she was eating red grapes and had a choclate and droewors in her hands......nothing can beat the feeling of seen her happily munching away. We wish you guys a blessed journey, Brendon
Hey Guys,I just got this and I am reading it with tears streaming down my face....I really didn't realize your journey thusfar had been such a struggle! I guess it is because despite all his challenges - little Jason is just such a special boy and you 2 as parents are always so positive and cheery! My heart really goes out to you guys and I can say that we will help you where possible and I will forward this link to my entire address book....Here is to hoping and wishing for the best for you guys! Sending you lots of love and hugs,Darren and Tammy.....
Hi JillyWell done on your website! Its awesome. I've forwarded to some people in the office and as i think of more i'll send it on. You will raise this money! I promise! See you soon.
You are all so very brave. Thinking of you in your venture and ALL THE VERY BEST.Derell Taylor
I've got such a good feeling about this and we will make this dream come true.
Dearest JillMy heart is so sore from the loss of my little boy, Mohammed, in Feb this year to Cancer. I know how helpless you must be feeling ...i've been there and i pray for your lovely Jason to win this battle and put his troubles behind him. Dear God in heaven, please heal Jason and let his mom smile again. You are in my prayers , love Salma.
Hi there,I would like to offer you some spiritual advise if thats ok. Please forgive me, as i obviously dont know what you are going through, but i do know that there is a GREAT and MIGHTY GOD who says that NOTHING is too difficult for HIM. Jesus is the answer, especilaly at such an emotional and desperate time in your lives. I apologise for anything that i say that may be offensive, that isnt my intention at all, i just want to help, and i will keep your son in prayer. I belive that you are going through this for the Glory of God and in the end- this will be such a glorious testimony. All good things come in Gods time. Just keep the faith, i know its difficult but we are his chosen ones and he will never abandon us. My advise would be to truly seek the face of God and fast and pray and perhaps in conjuction with that, get someone to pray for him in terms of rebuking the spirit thats distorting what God has created in your son, because from my own experience with an eating disorder (i battled 6 years)- ONLY Jesus set me free and i pray the same for you and your family.Remember- God is in control of every human event, and if we delight ourselves in Him, we shall lack for no good thing. He has you all engraved in the palm of his hands, and he knows whats happening, so dont worry or fear, may His perfect will be done :)Lots of love and Best regards
When You're Down to Nothing, God's up to Something' 'Worry looks around, sorry looks back, Faith looks up.'
I second Leeane. We will make this dream come true. You and Bruce are two of the most amazing people I know.
The website is brilliant. You will achieve your goal. Just hang in, God will come through for your Jason.
Hi there, I'm sorry to hear about your plight. It brings back very vivid memories of when my daughter had the same operation and stopped eating. By 4 months she was below birth weight and I was told she was failing to thrive and there was little they could do. A sister showed me how to tube feed nasal gastrically (I had to put the tube up her nose, down her throat into her stomach) and that was every 2 hours.Luckily for me she was tube fed for just over a year before she started eating again by herself (I tried to feed her her bottle before each feed in the hope that she would start drinking again which she eventually did). I was advised against the "Mickey Button" the tube into the side of the stomach at the time as it wasn't a really a procedure done here (2002). She's now 9 and very healthy and active although still very skinny. My heart goes out to you and if I had the funds I would but right now you have my thoughts and prayers.
Hie GuysThus so sad but trust and believe in God the creator, nothing is impossible to him Jason will be fine and grow up well.Im praying you get funds to go to Austria, some one out there will help you.God Bless You and Good luck Jay.

Your little boy is a blessing & a miracle. Love him, treasure him & answers will come with time. As our doctor told us with our handicapped son - "baby steps, one day at a time". You will get there, miracles do happen.
I WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE SOME FUNDSTOWARDS JASON, BUT PLSE DO TRY JESUSHE IS YOUR ANSWER IN TIME OF NEED.THANK YOU
Hi Jason. You are such a wonderful and special little boy! I just love all your photos!! I will do my best to help you raise the funds you need as soon as possible.
Such a brave and courageous family :)For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11Your future as a family is full of hope! May God continue to bless and encourage you all as you move towards healing. xxx
To Jason (my nephew): a body so small with a heart so big. We love you so much! Although life with pain has become so normal, that normality will be short lived. We cannot ask God why all the time! When we can't see the whole picture. Your life is a blessing, you continually show us how to be happy and joyful even through all the pain. Don't be scared you are a gift from Jesus and are held firmly in his hand - we love youTo my Sister: what a journey you have been on and are still to travel. What have you done to deserve it? Why couldn't it have been me? I made all the wrong decisions and walked all the wrong paths. However I say to you that all paths lead to our father in heaven. This is not punishment but for the Glory of God. Keep your eyes fixed on him, our creator and loving father, as everything is under his control and when the bigger picture is revealed praise him and give the glory to God. You are in our prayers, be strong and remain focused putting your trust in the Lord. Remember as children we should enter the presence of God then we will understand and believe wholeheartedly that Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves. To Bruce (my brother-in-law): be strong and lead your family. You are a loving father and husband who has had to deal with obstacles way beyond the normal father duties. You have been fantastic and an example to men out there. Remain focused, hold the pieces together for a complete picture and complete result. Things have not been easy Brucie but I say to you Jesus loves you and wants to walk through this with you. Trust him and he will show you the way!Derek, Chantel, Catherine & Chelsea
To Bruce and JillHang in there. You are both fantastic parents and Jason could not ask for any better. Jason, i saw you a few days after you were born.Tiny in size yes, but with a big heart indeed. I pray that the money will be raised and with this treatment you will learn to eat and i look forward to seeing you GROW into a big strong man.michael and Alwene
May God's blessings be with Jason and his family!Lots of love!
Bruce and JillWhat a stunning little boy. Love the photos, specially the one where he pours the bucket of water over his head lol, Financially i cannot help but i certainly will keep the three of you and the family in my prayers. This is so heart sore and makes a person think that how great-full we as humans need to be for what we have..Dear Heavenly Father, please be with Bruce, Jill and little Jason. Keep your blessings pouring over them. Lord I know you have all your reasons but Lord, we ask for a rich blessing to help Jason to ear normal again. Bless this family in their time of need. All this Heavenly Farther, i ask in Your Holy Name - Amen
Good luck ! You have done so well so far this website is brilliant! Stay strong I am sure that if you keep going it will work out fit you x s
Oh my gosh. Can't believe how much you have raised. So many good people out there.
Hey Jason...happy birthday little guy!I had the privilege of meeting you on the day you were born and seeing you for the first time, although very small, I knew that God had created a perfect little human being, one with a tenacious spirit and a will to live second to none!So while we celebrate your 3 years, we also celebrate all that's to still come as part of your journey, good times and tough times...because life is to be celebrated, especially one as special as yours.Happy birthday and may you have many, many more.Love the Melvilles

To Jason's parents - well done. I can't even imagine how hard and heartbreaking this journey has been. It is hard enough being a parent to healthy children. It looks to me like you are going to get there and Jason is going to get the help he needs - how wonderful!Keep going - what a reward it will be when he is eating again!
Hi Bruce, Jill and Jason, WHAT A DAY!!! We are so glad that you reached your target. Jason will one day know and understand what strong Dad and MOM his got. Jill all the hard work payed off for you and the family you loves so dearly. We (Willie and I) wish you the best for the future and especially for JASON and your trip to Graz. WELL DONE
WELL DONE on reaching your target! All the best for the treatment! Our prayers and thoughts will be with you as parents and especially for Jason on his next journey! Good luck!
Being involved with such a project, is purely a massive privilege. We had the 'honour' of meeting our little friend Jason;what a lovely little guy!`one purely wants to hug him endlessly (although we didn't, to respect his space and condition). The fantastic news is that the financial goal has been reached! We now trust and Believe, that the physical and related goals WILL be reached. We'll be monitoring this www for updates.God bless, little guy; all the success in the universe.Fond regards...Cecil & Annet, Mandini, KzN, SAfrica
With you all the way guys. PLEASE email or call me for ANYTHING you might want to ask or need. Love Joanne xx
Hi Jilly, thinking of you guys constantly, have been reading all your updates, keep your chin up and remember that God is in control. Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans for hope and a future. I believe this 100 % for little Jason, he is a little miracle and I know that the right hand of the father is on His life!!! For you and Bruce, please read Psalm 103, remember that He heals ALL our diseases. I pray for strength and guidance for you both and special hugs, loves and kisses to that beautiful little boy of yours!!! Lots of love xxx/ooo
hi guys!instead of a pie try and go to the butcher and ask for a LEBERKAESE SEMMEL WITH MUSTARD. my favourite. regards hannes
Hi Jill and Bruceglad to hear it is going well. Every day a little bit forward. We are enjoying the website - thanks for the regular updates. Going well here, Alexander had a fashion show today!the Austrians LOVE their meat, but mostly sausages and cold cuts, etc. We read that Grazz is well known for its culinary delights! Maybe Bruce can find a Deli where he can buy you a wider variety of food to eat. Sounds great for weight-loss though, so you are getting beach ready without even trying!Lots of loveAnnemarie x
Hi JillJust a quick hi and to encourage you that there are many of us following your story and rooting and praying for you guys. You are doing an amazing "job" and i love reading the updates to see how Jason is doing... Looking forward to hear more updates once they have done the tests tomorrow... holding thumbs that you hear some positive info.By the way i can totally relate to you not loving the food over there, when i was in Germany last month i just couldn't not find any good old "normal" south african food :-) Wonder what the Germans etc think when they come to SA and have to eat our cuisine??!!Much loveSusan
All the best for Jason tomorrow - I will be thinking of you!
Hey there guys, as you said things happen for a reason. So all these tests are exactly what you want to ensure all those specialists get to see him and see all aspects of the daily problems you guys have. I encourage you to read the story of Joseph. I love it because can you imagine your brothers selling you, can you imagine being accused of trying to seduce your boss's wife, and out of all these hectic terrible things, Joseph becomes second in charge. Pharoahs right hand man. In the kids version the song is "you know better than I" and guys He does. Love and miss you, big hugs. Chantys
Hi guys,Just to let you you know I'm keeping up with all your trip - its just like we were there yesterday... Matthew has just started to drink only now, so patience is something you have to learn (as if we havent learnt enough of that already!!!)So now, he's eating and drinking - although still on babyfoods - THE TUBE IS OUT AND HE IS DRINKING - so we are huge steps forward. Matthew is nearly 6 years old, so we've come a long way slowly - but we ARE getting there, as you all will.Sending you lots of love and strengthJoannexxx
Jill,Who is your travel agent and which airline are you booked on? Surely there must be some way of seeing if the airline won't help you by waiving the change fee. I would contact the airline direct and nag and bully until you get thru to someone who can assist you. If staying a few extra days is what you need to get results, we have to try every avenue possible to make it happen.... we can start an email bombardment of the airline if you want! Get someone's email address and post it on the blog for us ;-)
oh my heart really goes out to you, sounded like such a hard day. Emmotionally this must be taxing on you all.Wish I was there to hug you and make you a nice cup of tea,yes with a shot in it! love you lots and miss you lots.big hugs
Dear Bruce, Jill and J-boyCan't believe you have been there for 3 weeks already! Jill you really must have this whole story published. Hello Jason, after some days for holiday in Vienna, now we are back in germany. We have leaved Graz so quickly because of the sickness-wave at the 5th floor. I am eating the whole day like a wolf. Hi there Cherry Hugo told me all about your plight and gave me the website. I have been following from your second week in Graz and think you are all amazing! I spoke to Beret two weeks ago and she also filled me in on the details. Please carry on keeping us informed! You should honestly think of publishing your story - you've written it so well. Last Monday on Carte Blance Medical there was a whole article on Graz and some S.A. families that had gone there. It was very interesting. Keep on with your wonderful, positive attitudes - I'm sure it must be difficult at times. May you all be blessed. Lots of love. Jo-anne Klinkert
Hi Jill, have read the whole story - you and Bruce are such amazing people - our prayers and thoughts are with you all the time - keep up the positive attitude you both have - at least some progress has been made and as you say, you have both learnt so much. lots and lost of love Denise and Vee
I am so happy to hear that Jason is doing so spectacularly well since your return. That is such great news.Hope the doggies are well - I still miss them. And hope your mom gets better soon jill.take care and kind regardsAnne-marie
My prayers and thoughts are with you all - it is such a difficult journey that you have to travel but remember you are never alone, I know it feels like it at times but you are surrounded with the love and prayers of so many family and friends and our Lord and Saviour, our Great Healer is with Jason and He will answer prayers but it isn't always in our time, it is in His - we hand Jason over to His loving, caring, healing hands, Jason will be healed - this too shall pass - keep the faith. May our Lord's healing light be on you all and may His love surround you always. Go well and God bless. Love and best wishes Wayne, Sarah, Robyn and Rachel Taylor

Just think, all those lovely things you are still going to taste; Jill and Bruce, keep up the good work you guys are very special people. Lots and lots of love and kisses.
I would like to thank you for the efforts you've got made in writing this publish. I am hoping the exact same greatest function from you within the future too. In reality your creative writing abilities has inspired me to begin my own BlogEngine weblog now. Seriously the blogging is spreading its wings rapidly. Your write up can be a fine example of it.
Goodluck and much love to you. We had a very sick baby who suffered from Oliohydramnios (lack of amniotic fluid) and spent over a year in hospital. He, like your Jason, had enormous trouble learning to eat and we are still working on the speaking. It's such a long road. But Jason looks so wonderful in the pictures. Best of luck with this new home wean, we weaned at home too and now our son is eating (still thin!) but finally eating. All the best, Madeleine
Jill and Bruce, things are going nicely with J's eating hey? just hang in there its very exciting stuff. Potty training - eating - drinking - little bits go a long way, and he will get even better once his little sister is here. As for "baby girl", she is just amazing and everything is all under control, God is watching you all, and guiding you every day. Keep well, and lots of love. Paddy and Graham.
hope J-boy had a goos sleep after playing his own goodnight song!!!! he has come a long way and is destant for great things!!!
loads of love always
We will be thinking of you and sending lots of good vibes for success the second time around. As you say, it's going to be hard, but worthwhile. Love from Gerry and Marion in Australia.
Jason you are an amazing little boy and to your mom and dad an absolute inspiration. I work with your grampa, Norman, and he always fills me in proudly of how his beautiful grandson is progressing. Thinking of you always. Candice

Thanks for this post, I'm a big fan of this web site would like to proceed updated.
I just happened to come across your blog. My heart aches for you guys. I have a son with Autism, and I know that the journey is a hard one... I have learnt a great deal about the importance of gut health. Everything starts there... and I highly recommend homeopathy to help heal the body. Have you heard of GAPS? It gives a good insight to what goes on in the gut. http://www.gaps.me/preview/?page_id=20 Sending you much strength and love.
