Today was a pretty relaxed day. We only had one therapy with Ingrid at 11:00 and then play picnic. It was nice to relax a bit and not rush to get to therapies for a change.
Having only one therapy was much better for Jason as well, and being occupational therapy, it was fun. He played in the lentil bath which he is getting very use to. Fishing sticks out and putting those into a hedgehog object. He did very well with Ingrid today and was as happy as can be.
Play picnic went well as well, he was happy, relaxed and content. He happily put pom-bar’s and goldfish biscuits in his mouth. Still filling his mouth and not swallowing. We left with a mouth full of food and that was his mouth full for the rest of the afternoon.
The Professor spoke to Bruce today, we are worried about Jason’s chest still. She said to drop Jason’s milk down to 600mls overnight instead of 700mls overnight and no day feeds.
We went into town to go and try find the toy shop that we have heard so much about. Jason has broken his favourite drawing board and we wanted to try and buy another one. After searching we found nothing but we did find a xylophone, a ball and a little car for Jason.
When he went to bed tonight, he sounded terrible, very snotty and wheezy. We will have to get him checked out again by the doctor to make sure he is ok and whether he will need an antibiotic and bloods tested.
