Jason hasn't been well the past two weeks. We went to the doctor last Monday and he was put on antibiotics but with Jason we never just get to go to the doctor once, always a follow up visit or a third. At least his infection hasn't gone to his chest so we are very thankful for that.
The gagging, vomiting and screaming has started again. We are hoping that it will go away once he is better and not stay with us for weeks. The doctor checked him thoroughly. His chest is clear, ears are clear, throat is fine. He said what we were thinking that the phlegm/mucous is sitting at the back of his throat causing him to gag and vomit. With the gagging and vomiting it is sore because of his nissan and he screams. He has given us a new medicine to try for the mucous and said to give Stopayne for the pain. He said to go back on Friday and he will check him.
I really hope that it is only the mucous causing this. I think so though because I am still coughing away from phlegm in my throat as well.
Jason is normally worse in the mornings like anyone that gets sick. Then he comes right again, I give him milk and man down again. It's a vicious cycle but something we just have to get through.
I have missed out of 8 days of work so far, but I guess there is nothing I can do, I just need to accept that when Jason is like this no-one can look after him but Bruce and myself. Not long to go and we will be going to Austria so we have to just hang in there and focus on our trip. If I could leave tomorrow, boy I would be on the next flight out of here.
