The weather was miserable today, our only day off of course. We decided to finally be brave and catch tram 7 to town and see where we end up and what we can see. Of course being a Sunday, nothing was open except a few odd shops in their carts otherwise everything else was closed. It’s pretty interesting to see the different shops, mostly clothing shops, lots of restaurants and pubs and lots of underwear shops, all with purple underwear!! We got asked for our tram tickets so beware, you must have your ticket with you. Bruce lost his ticket in his wallet and of course when he was asked panic kicked in and he couldn’t find a thing. I had to come to his rescue and get it for him before he got arrested – he he.
Jason is still on 500mls of formula overnight, we are waiting to see whether they want to reduce it or not. During the day, all he wants to eat is Pom-Bar chips, stuffs them in his mouth but won’t swallow. He has to swallow a little with his saliva but not much at all. Also trying juices and water but he will have nothing. It is a huge worry of course, not so easy being parents watching your child starve, you just want to do it for them but you have to sit back and WAIT. Patience is something that you really have to have here.
Jason wants to do everything on his own, on his own terms and doesn’t want anyone to interfere. So we are going to have a lot of fights on our hands.
We went to a little pub down the road and had some lunch and then went back to the B&B and watched Avitar. Jason did try a few more Pom-Bar chips and then I just left some kitkat on his leg and he actually took a bite before bed.
I just wish he would drink something to down those chips or at least quench his thirst. BUT all in good time and patience hey!!!
