Today was our day off and we were pretty stoked knowing that Rob, Brene and Tayden, our South African friends had arrived and we could all go somewhere and show them around a little and explain how the busses and trams worked and how to get to town and back etc.
We decided to go and do some sightseeing. We had been given directions to the clock tower, one of the nice touristy places, so decided to go try find that and also Rob and Brene needed a sim card for their mobile phone.
After much walking around and searching we found the right shop for the sim card and also found the clock tower. Pretty amazing place, really awesome views. You go through a tunnel, under the mountain to catch a lift to the top of the mountain. Once on the mountain you can see the whole of Graz, absolutely amazing, what views from there. You can also go in a little train down the bottom on a 20 minute tour. We just did the lift and the walk and had a bite to eat and a drink on the top.
We did take quite a few photos of the place but Jason loving technology wanted to play with the camera which I let him do and he very cleverly deleted all the photos!!
Unfortunately Jason suddenly wasn’t feeling well, was red in the face and not a happy camper. We thought maybe he was a bit hot in his jacket so we all eventually left to go back seen as though he was so unhappy.
Well when we got home we found out why he was so unhappy. I took his temperature and that was 38.6 so something was up!!
